PLATON+ partners are organising a series of training sessions in all (10) countries represented by the consortium, aiming to help the participants understand the value of Socio-Economic Sciences and Humanities integration in technological research.

The sessions are addressed to:

  • Proposal writers / future coordinators of European research projects from all disciplines
  • Researchers with interest to learn about Social Sciences impact on technology research and cooperation dynamics
  • Policy analysts

The overall objective of the training sessions is to embark researchers from both Socio-Economic Sciences and Humanities and other domains into a group based learning experience to develop lateral thinking and change the perception of research in Social Sciences and Humanities by researchers in other disciplines.

This will be achieved through the use of simulation game (EUROBOT simulation) for a ‘learning by doing' experience, focusing on collaboration dynamics in European settings and on assessing the impact and role of Social Sciences in knowledge creation.

We have prepared a short video providing a brief overview of the training sessions (view here).
